my friend is being really over dramatic about this guy not liking her. ugh. he’s told her multiple times that he’s not interested in her romantically but she keeps denying it and she keeps pushing something to happen.

she literally just said “if it happens, it happens.” i’m trying to be sensitive cause i don’t want to be a dick, but she’s in so much denial that absolutely nothing will happen. and i’ve been sugar-coating this for her for weeks.

and she refuses to take my advice even though i just went through a very similar situation a few weeks ago. because every time i try to relate it back to that and show her that i’m fine, she says something about “they’re not similar situations though, my guy might actually like me.”

firstly: like, wow thanks. i’m over my guy but that doesn’t make me feel good.

i’m trying to support her, but it’s getting harder
